He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School in 1998 before completing his Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Nguyen is best known for his down-to-earth approach and his dedication to mentoring other doctors in modern dental technology.
Passionate about all aspects of dentistry, including oral surgery, endodontics, sleep apnea treatment, and preventive, restorative, and cosmetic services, Dr. Nguyen loves developing relationships with his patients while walking beside them on their journeys to optimal oral health. With a conservative and preventive approach, he’s continually committed to going the extra mile to ensure those in his care achieve their smile goals while looking and feeling their best.
When he isn’t in the office, Dr. Nguyen loves spending time with his fiancée, Leslie, who works for a non-profit providing mobile dental care for underserved communities, and his amazing children, Joaquin and Thalia. He also enjoys watching his kids compete in sports and playing guitar when time allows.

Dr. Gilbert Parrott has practiced restorative dentistry in the Lake View area since 1989. He acquired his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Illinois, Chicago College of Dentistry, and is focused on the artistry of cosmetic and implant reconstructive dentistry. He’s passionate about making a positive impact on his patients’ lives by helping them support and repair the function and appearance of their smiles.
Building and maintaining long-term trusting relationships with his patients is at the core of Dr. Parrott’s judgment-free and empathetic approach, and he considers it an immense honor to provide tailored, smile-optimizing preventive, restorative, and cosmetic care to generations of patients.
Beyond the practice, Dr. Parrott spends his time sharing life at the lake with his wife, Becky, who is a practicing orthopedic physical therapist specializing in foot and ankle therapy and dry-needling. They love being with their adult children, and Dr. Parrott is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, downhill skiing, snowmobiling, and fishing for muskie and bass.
